STUDENTS GO OVERBOARD FOR MUSTO FASHION PARADE

Event management students from the International College of Management, Sydney (ICMS) have been hard at work coordinating the much anticipated Musto fashion parade at the 2014 Sydney International Boat Show.

After coming together for another year, the ICMS students will organise three fashion parades each day during the five day show, running from 31 July – 4 August at Glebe Island.

Frank Prestipino, Managing Director and President of ICMS, said this wasn’t an easy task for the students, but it has helped them gain first-hand skills in a very competitive industry.

“The students have managed budgets, liaised with clients and suppliers, booked models and even chosen clothing from Musto’s range to feature in the shows”.

The Musto fashion parade puts a twist on the traditional show, with models showcasing the marine clothing essentials, all during a vibrant dance routine.

“This hands-on experience is all part of the specialty courses offered at our beautiful campus in Manly,” Frank added.

With an ever-expanding range of training courses becoming available, ICMS is committed to being a leading business school that focuses on connecting students with industry. It offers courses in business management, sport management, hospitality management, event management, international tourism and property management.
