Glenn McGrath invites you to celebrate the Australian Year of the Farmer 2012.
B & S Balls are an Australian tradition dating back to the 1800’s. Held all over rural Australia, these events brought people together – old friendships rekindled, new friendships begun. Guests dressed up in all kinds of gear from formal to fashionable but always with a little touch of Aussie country – an Akubra hat, a pair of boots, a piece of R.M.Williams’ gear … “Bush Cocktail” style!
One Country highlights the importance of bringing city and rural communities together. These inaugural B&S Balls are bush dances for singles, couples and corporates to celebrate the Australian Year of the Farmer 2012, and to launch the One Country program.
Australian Year of the Farmer celebrates the hard work of everyone involved in producing, processing, distributing and selling agricultural products from across the country.
The Year highlights the need for more people to appreciate the fresh food and quality materials our farmers produce to keep us fed, clothed and sheltered. This is a national celebration – reminding us that agribusiness sustains the Australian way of life and the economy.
