Bob Herdsman

Bob Herdsman, the oldest ever contestant of The Biggest Loser, shed a record breaking 87.6kgs to take out the title for 2009! Entering the reality series weighing 167.8kgs, at 50 years old, Bob lost more than half his body weight and is now just 80.2kgs – the most weight a competitor has ever dropped in the four years of the series.

Bob, from Bunbury in Western Australia, said winning meant that his wife could now rest easy. He plans to work hard to keep the weight off and would now like to help others by mentoring obese people. “I really hope that I can because I know what it’s like to be obese”.

Since winning the series, Bob has been titled the face of Octane Fitness, the market leader in cross trainers and weight loss and healthy lifestyle clinic Mediloss. Bob has also been associated with weight loss club The Biggest Loser Club where you’ll find his tips and weight loss story housed on their official website.

Bob is available now for commercial and endorsement opportunities, MC roles, speaking engagements and media interviews.
